View Project
This project focuses on designing a user-friendly kiosk experience for Ontario Parks, aimed at enhancing visitor engagement and education within public spaces such as visitor centers and exhibitions. The interface presents key information including park history, classifications, visitor guidelines, and wildlife education in a visually structured and interactive format. A map-based background reinforces geographic context while layered UI elements guide users through different sections. Special attention was given to accessibility and clarity, ensuring that users of all age groups can easily navigate through the kiosk. Interactive elements such as clickable categories, bird exploration features, and structured content panels create an engaging and informative experience. The project demonstrates the application of UX principles, visual hierarchy, and storytelling within a digital kiosk environment.
Tabbed interface allows users to explore history, visitor information, and classifications seamlessly.
Clear content hierarchy presents complex information in an easy-to-understand and engaging format.
Interactive bird section enables users to click and learn about species in Ontario’s boreal forest.
Use of maps, imagery, and icons enhances user understanding and creates an immersive experience.
